Apprentices set another record at Hystandard
Firstly we would like to go on record and say here at Hystandard Handling Equipment we are strong believers in building our team into world-class performers. First of all this starts with the fundamentals of a tertiary education, which is provided through TAFE. With assistance from the hands-on experience guided by our senior team members, our apprentices have the framework to grow into team leaders.
On rare occasions, team members who shine so brightly that they exceed the parameters meant for most, and excel beyond the rest. One such team member is Sinan Tekbas, from our Melbourne branch. Sinan successfully completed his spare parts interpreter apprenticeship in record time. This is usually a 2 year course, but through his hard work and dedication Sinan managed to finish the whole thing in just 13 short months!
This is a fantastic achievement for Sinan, and Hystandard Handling Equipment wish him all the best as he prepares to kick off the next exciting phase in his career and development. It is so encouraging to see his career starting like this, because it inspires others to follow suit.
Sinan is our 2nd apprentice in our Victorian branch to finish in the last 8 months. This is all possible due to the Hystandard Handling Equipment Apprenticeship Initiative. The HHE Apprenticeship Initiative is a movement spearheaded by Managing Director John Flinn. The program was developed to ensure the sustainability of the industry long-term. Similarly inspiring is the story of our other apprentice to graduate in the last 8 months, Mara. Mara was our first female apprentice graduate, completing her trade in late 2015. Read her story at Hystandards’ First Female Apprentice Graduate
Well done guys! Great effort! Lets see which other records we can break in 2017!!!
