Our new range of reach trucks has been developed to provide greater flexibility than ever before.

The eight models deliver capacities ranging from 1.4 to 2.5 tonnes with standard, high lift and narrow chassis versions available. Whatever your warehouse handling requirements, Hystandard won’t let you down.

Every truck in the series is powered by AC motors, offering increased performance and potentially lower maintenance costs. AC technology delivers travel speeds up to 12kph and no variance in performance whether laden or unladen. Operators also have the ability to harness power, switching between high performance for maximum productivity, and less power for more delicate operations and increased shift life. Combine these features with an extended battery life and fewer components, and it’s easy to see the benefits of AC technology.

With three settings – soft, medium and hard – plus a creep speed for sensitive manoeuvres, the operator is able to preset the performance of the truck depending on the task in hand, all at the touch of a button. A hard setting allows the truck to travel at fast speeds – ideal for longer runs – with rapid acceleration and a very short braking distance. Alternatively, a switch to the soft position limits the speed of the truck and prolongs battery life. For maximum flexibility, all settings can be adjusted to suit driver preference or the individual application. To promote best driving practice and extend the life of the load wheel, creep speed is automatically applied when the mast is reached forward.

360° steering is available as standard on all trucks, enabling greater driving control and more accurate positioning at the rack face. Depending on driver preference, the steering can be easily changed from 360° to 180° and vice versa with a simple on-site modification. For ease of use, the drive wheel is automatically centred upon start-up, whilst to give added stability, our reach trucks also benefit from automatic speed reduction on cornering. The fly by wire progressive steering automatically reduces steering sensitivity as travel speed increases to enhance straight line travel control.180° steering is available as an option.

The trucks ergonomic design is a reflection of our commitment to driver comfort. All trucks in the range incorporate a 3-way adjustable, full suspension seat with padded headrest, designed to offer optimum support. A heated seat and PVC seat are available as options. A sliding armrest, which automatically returns to the home position, alleviates the build-up of fatigue in the forearm. A kneepad, large footwell and low effort pedals increase operator comfort. Accessing and exiting this area is equally relaxed, with a low integral step and padded handgrip.
